I’m all about helping my students realize their academic goals. I entered the professional tutoring world in 2011 as an LSAT Test Prep instructor and private tutor for The Princeton Review. Soon after, I completed instructor-training programs for the SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT exams and began shaping my own approach to test prep. In 2015, I founded Brighton Tutors and we've been providing expert Test Prep, Academic Subject Tutoring, and College Admissions Essay Consulting ever since.

ASHRAF ALAM

Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of students raise their scores on the SAT and ACT exams and get accepted to top-choice colleges. My success as a tutor stems from my results-based approach, paired with my knack for connecting with students of all abilities. I prepare my students with the content and strategies MOST-RELEVANT to increasing scores in each exam section and my communication style, reliability, and patience give my students confidence they need to succeed.

In addition to tutoring and managing Brighton Tutors, I train our tutoring team, present on SAT and ACT test prep, and work with my students to craft successful college admissions essays. I love serving as an educator and mentor to my students as they navigate the trials of the SAT and ACT exams and the College Admissions Process... and, I’m always excited to help new students make their college dreams come true.

When you work with Brighton Tutors, Ashraf and I are here for you every step of the way – no automated services - just real help from real people. I bring this same personal touch to our collaborations with local businesses and organizations. Our company looks to partner with community members who support our youth and believe that, when we work together, we can accomplish great things. Our primary outreach program has donated hundreds of private tutoring hours to school and community fundraisers over the years and we're always looking for new opportunities to serve.
